Dear Brother Bob...you got there before me! Please tell Jesus I can't wait to see Him one day soon. Oh Bob, by the way, now you know just how wonderful He really is. And thank you Bob for all the wonderful words you gave me from Jesus over the years. Each one is burned deeply into my spirit. You are miss by all, but none of us would ever doubt you are the happiest you've even been. Tell Him we are waiting for Him to come and set this world straight. Shalom, Barbara Di Gilio
When I was growing up, some people called my brother, Bob, while others called him, Robert. So, being about 13 years younger, I called him Bobert. When I was about 4 years old, I remember that Bob had a paint horse. He put me up on the horse which was a great childhood memory. The core characteristic of my brother throughout his life was his sincere empathy with others. Empathy demonstrates an infinite spirit. Gary Pangburn
Pastor Bob, I truly miss you. You were and are an inspiration to me. Meeting you here at Pleasant Harbor RV Resort was an act of God. Sharing what time we had together was wonderful. I will never forget you and can't wait to see you again when I meet Jesus face to face.
I will miss our talks Bob. You have always been such a gentleman and I am honored to have known you. Now you are having talks with Jesus. Love and miss you, Pam Furubotten.
Papa, I will always miss you. You were such a mentor in my life and a very dear friend. A girl could not have asked for a better father than you. The memories we shared together will live forever in my heart. Thank you for setting a godly example in my life. Thank you for so many gifts that could never be bought with worldly means. I appreciate your love, wisdom, patience, inspiration, and gentle nature. My father, my friend. Love, Nancy
Pastor Bob, You were just that--a TRUE pastor in very sense of the word. You went deep with God and had a passion for His Word : you sought after and found the deep, profound things of God, and you shared those profound truths you discovered about kingdom living with power, beauty and grace. You loved the flock and ministered to a hurting soul with great compassion, love, wisdom, and understanding, even when you were suffering yourself. Our own family has personal testimonies and experience of the freedom in Jesus you helped us attain. We will always love and appreciate you, and will miss your kindness, your warmth, your infectious sense of humor and laugh, and your friendship-----but not forever, because we get to see you again someday ! With love and appreciation from Russ, Terry and Kristen Kohuth
Pastor Bob was a very special servant of God. We saw in him the Love and Grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When Bob smiled and hugged you, you could feel the Love of God. He had a special gift of listening to the Holy Spirit and many people all over the world have been touched by that gift. We loved Pastor Bob so much and will miss his wisdom, love, and special smile. We just know that he is walking and talking with Jesus his Lord in the Kingdom of God. We will see you again Bob, and will be waiting for a special hug. Marsha & Mike Barry
In one's life you have a chance to meet many people. A few, maybe two or three make a significant difference in your outlook for that life. Even though we only knew him a little over two years, Bob Pangburn was one of those people. The first time that you met him, you could see that he was honest, sincere, caring, warm, totally approachable, and intelligent. His lifetime of experiences and relationships in ministering to others were the background that he drew from in nurturing those that were his parishioners. At Pleasant Harbor RV Resort the sermons were non-denominational. Anyone from any faith could attend and leave with a better understanding of the written word. I felt this the first time that I attended one of his services. When we would go back to Iowa for the summer, I would be anxious to get back to hear more and attend his services. Pastor Bob would open a passage or parable, read it as written, and then, explain it so that anyone that listened would totally understand. To accomplish this he sometimes took us down a "RABBIT TRAIL" that would further enlighten the subject that he was presenting. Once in a while he wandered down a "RABBIT TRAIL" too far, and we would help him find his way back, always with a laugh and a smile. Those that knew Pastor Bob know how he always said "BLESS YOU" or "I love you man" usually accompanied by a hug or handshake that was sincerely felt. Bob treated everyone the same, whether they were parishioners or not. He judged not, a rare quality in this day and age. We are so very fortunate to have his two published books of daily readings and insights to bring a little bit of Pastor Bob to us anytime that we need him. In those we all are his children and he can further nurture our hearts and souls. In closing we would like to say that we were honored to have Bob as a friend and Pastor. We know that he was one of Our Lord's very, very special messengers. Knowing where he now resides brings a smile to my face when I think about him. I Love You Man, we are truly blessed to have had our time with you. Helen and Fred Loeb
Grace and Peace to You in This Time of Sadness...Wishing you peace in the love of your family, strength in the caring of your friends, and hope in the comforting closeness of your Lord. In Sympathy and Prayer. So thankful we got to be together this summer. Our love and prayers are with you and your family. Dee & Frankie Bradshaw
With Caring Thoughts of Sympathy for You and Your Family...Remembering you and your family in heartfelt thoughts of sympathy, and hoping it helps to know that others care and share your loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this difficult time. Bob & Barb Yonts (Brother of Linda Yonts Pangburn)
Thank you Pastor Bob (Mary Beth too!) for the wonderful thoughts, insights and wisdom that you penned in your 2 devotionals, and for your faithful Support of the I.A.M. Luncheons. Your smile, Pastor, and your servant's heart will always remain with us. We love you both! Chris & Christine Gonzales
Loved the way Bob helped people--and his sense of humor. It was my pleasure to work with him at Interfaith Svs, and being 30-year friends. Paul went with Bob several times metal detecting, moved RV's around and worked together on his so-beloved Diesel Truck. To say Bob was one of the Best & that he will be missed is like saying: "The Grand Canyon is a nice little ditch!" It just doesn't say it. Paul & Peggy Secaur
We are so sadden with your loss. Remember, Mary Beth, Bob is now with the Lord and he will always be looking out for you. Bob is now laughing and in perfect health! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you and give you strength. Our love, Steve and Giuli Gilman
Bob still ministers to me through his daily devotionals. Yes, we have the peace and joy knowing he is in the arms of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. It has been a privilege knowing God had placed you both in my life. Love to you and your family. Jennie S Dewberry
I truly do know how you feel...he was such an Amazing Man of GOD and I'm sure he's so proud to meet some of the people that he led to the LORD in his new heavenly home. I love you and will truly be lifting you in prayer. Love you so, Cheryl Hill
Our hearts and prayers are with you. We rejoice with you knowing that he is with Jesus and is healed eternally. We also feel for you as you miss him from your daily life. Bob has touched many lives, and I am sure he heard the words from Jesus, Well done my good and faithful servant. We continue to be encouraged by the words Bob put to paper through the guidance of the Holy Spirit and continue to use his books to encourage others. We have not yet met you and yet it feels as if we have a bond with you through Bob’s inspirations. May the words of Bob’s books and the love of Jesus and His Word continue to carry you through the days ahead. We sense that you were as much encouragement to Bob as he was to you. I have learned so much how the prayers of others carry us through good days and hard days. Perhaps one day, God might arrange the opportunity for us to meet. Debbie and Alvin Iverson
I know the Holy Spirit was urging me to pray for your family. It is the best comfort to know that he is home with Jesus and that he served him well while he lived on this earth. May your new year be filled with blessings for you and your family. In His Name, Arthene Robins
Dear Mary Beth, I am so sorry to hear of your loss, and pray for Gods peace and comfort for you.It was such a blessing to have met both of you, and I cherish Bobs devotionals and prophecies. I must say that Bob’s books spoke volumes into my life - especially in times of need, as I’m sure they will continue to do for you. I felt such a connection to God through them, as if God was speaking directly to my circumstances on a daily bases - as if the book had be written just for me. That is so great that you will be able to carry on in sharing those with others, so that the may be equally blessed as well. The replies I got from people who were hurting when I was sending them out through my e-mail Ministry, also allowed me to see how his writings touched others in the same way. What an incredible and Godly man he was and I am thankful for the way I was able to grow in trusting the Lord, through his books. I have now turned my place, Saddle Up Ranch, in to a full time ministry, where I use my 10 horses for the sake of Fellowship, and sharing with others, my love of horses and God. I am truly blessed. I know that Heaven is so excited. And I know that God will be your strength. Keep up the good work,GOD BLESS YOU, and ABUNDANT BLESSING FOR THE NEW YEAR, as you continue to do God’s work. Love In Christ, Sarah, Saddle Up Ranch, Queen Creek, AZ
We know where Bob is, and that is such a blessing. Bob was a wonderful man even though I didn't know him very well. I considered him a good friend. You too. I remember meeting you for the first time in a Women's Aglow meeting.n You have no idea how Bob's books helped my family and others. My daughter keeps the two books in her cop car. My neighbor across the street comes over every Thursday and we have a prayer meeting--just the two of us. One of the first things we do is read the devotionals for that day. I don't know how many books my daughter and I have given away. I will be praying for you. I know that God will be your comfort. Love, Ronnie Seale
I am sorry that you lost your Soul-Mate and Best Friend. He has seen the Face of His Savior and is Home where he belongs....What a wonderful experience to take your last breath on earth only to take your next breath in Heaven with Jesus looking into your eyes! I Pray you will continue with his Ministry and that you find Joy in the Journey....Leslie Bowerbank
Bob and I were 11 months apart. We lived in the country. I looked up to him and he was always there for me. I looked up to him for advice. He always stuck up for me, even though he said I was his dumb little sister. He was working on the oil rig and he bought me a formal so I could go to the Senior Prom. He always was doing things for me. Bryce and Breann loved "Papa Bob" and really enjoyed fishing with him. I will miss Bob and am so glad he spent a month with us this summer. I'll never forget the great memories. Joan Kindt
One of our favorite memories of Bob is when he spent Thanksgiving at our home with us. Our son, Aaron, was around 1 at the time, and was spending a lot of time with Bob at our dinner. Bob was feeding Aaron mashed potatoes, each time Aaron stood at his knee. It was so cute, and a very special memory we hold dear to our hearts. We will miss Bob greatly. Joel, Jessica, Aaron & Ben Kaplan
In memory of Bob Pangburn, to Mary Beth, the Pangburn family, and the family of God of Sweetwater Church.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God, not even death, and nothing can separate us from the bond of family that has shared the love of God, not time, or space, or distance. All churches experience the sweet fellowship of Christ but those who enjoyed the sweet fellowship of Sweetwater Chruch know that the name was more than a moniker, it was a reality born of the life giving force that permeated our services and times together. It was certainly not a result of ourselves except in the fact that God delights and chooses to confound the wise with the foolish, the strong with the weak, the lowly and the despised to nullify the things that are. Our richness resulted from our brokenness so therefore, as it is written, "Let him who boasts boast in the Lord."
The first time I met Bob and Mary Beth I was struck by a sweetness of God's spirit in them. When Mary Beth called and asked me to write something for the celebration service she shared with me some of Bob's testimony. Called of God into the ministry, broken on the altar of service, and then resurrected with newness of life. The sweetness of the flowers' pedals is only intensified by the crushing blows that release its' fragrance. Bob and Mary Beth were well suited for Sweetwater and fit right in to our cupboard of broken cups, we were all damaged goods but trophies of God's grace. It reminds me of the woman in Luke who had led a "sinful life". She stood behind Jesus weeping, wetting his feet with her tears and then drying his feet with her hair, she kissed them and then from an alabaster jar poured perfume upon our Lord. When those looking on questioned the right of this "sinful" woman to do this he quieted their complaints by saying that those who are forgiven much love much.
Bob and Mary Beth found many ways to contribute to the ministry at Sweetwater but more importantly they were dedicated to taking the life giving power of the stream of the Spirit to those outside who were thirsty and had not yet experienced God's forgiveness and love. Mary Beth shared with me that they had been particularly blessed the last few years as they lived in a mobile park near Pleasant Lake. She said that Bob had witnessed to many whose lives were in need of God's forgiveness and love. Brokenness is sweet when it leads to the healing of the brokenhearted. It is true that we rarely choose brokenness but if in our brokenness we bow at Jesus' feet then the sweet fragrance of his love will be released in us and it will be said, "he that winneth souls is wise" and "Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever." From brokenness to beauty, from darkness to light Bob's life is a celebration of God's love and the greatness of His salvation. Mary Beth, look up at the stars and like Abraham of old, know that God's promises are true and He is faithful.
Karen and I miss you so much but our hearts and thoughts are with you today and always. Mary Beth and the Pangburn family, we know that your joy in the knowledge of Bob's fulfilled faith and his welcome into the arms of Christ will overcome the sorrow of his loss for only a time. Our prayers and love are with you.
Bob was a gentle soul who loved and served the Lord FIRST! He was sound in his business practices only because he was led by the Spirit of God. He smiled easily and loved deeply. I will forever be honored to have been a part of his humanness and service-hood. Darlene Turner
Bob always had a way that spoke to me. He was very special to me. I went to visit him in Hospice Green House. All he did was make ME feel good. He always could do that and always did. Billy Dahlberg
There is a beautiful song by Sara Groves and it has lyrics of great promise. To be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. And from what I know of Him that must be very good. I know and believe that Bob is NOT separated from God. He has stepped into Glory. I only knew Bob for a few years. Bob was full of life. He lived true to John 10:10 where Jesus says "I have come to give life and life in the fullest." L'chaim (luh-khah-yim)Bob! Bob had the anointing of the Holy Spirit upon him. It was incredible to witness when he would be preaching and suddenly move in the Spirit. I'm sure there were times that his eyes would catch his listeners and their inner Spirit would jump and confirm the word he was preaching. I know mine did.
Bob walked in the anointing of the Holy Spirit with purpose of ministry. He was obedient and he graciously shared his gift of prophecy with many people. I was witness to his gift and what a blessing it was to those receiving. Bob had a love for studying the Word of God. You could just see his excitement when he taught on the revelation he received from his studies. Bob's ministry as a pastor was that of Jesus the Rabbi. Bob spoke representing Jesus to all me met. He never condemned or judged or called out sinners. He spoke of Love and of Grace. He opened his arms to anybody and made them feel welcome in his presence. Not once did he ever cause shame.
Pastor Bob was Grace. Bob knew that he was given unmerited favor; he embraced this gift from Christ and shared it. Not only did he share it, he spread it around. Bob had the divine influence upon his heart and it did illuminate through him to others. That's Grace. Bless you Bob! Bob's ministry of spreading the good news was that of our heavenly Father; he only wanted what was best for all he met. He spoke truth with kindness. Sound familiar? Sounds like our Lord and Savior. We love you Bob, Elizabeth Dahlberg
We all know that Bob was going through trials. I want to acknowledge Bob for the way he handled himself. His desire was always to fulfill his purpose set before him and minister to this church family here at the Park. This was such a blessing to so many. He touched several lives. He blessed believers, and brought the message of salvation to many. His message and the way he delivered his message also caused others to re-dedicate their lives back to the Lord. Even when Bob didn't feel so great, Bob would show up and serve us. For this, I give all the glory and praise to God. I know Bob would.
Bob taught us Peace. John 14:27 "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you; not as the world give. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." I believe Bob was blessed in the Spirit of Peace. He leaves an example to all of us on how to get through trials of life. Shalom Bob!
Scripture says "The Joy of the Lord is my strength". Another example of Bob's teaching was Joy. Look to Jesus and not our circumstances he would say. Bob's face would light up with Joy when he preached. His whole body would jump with Joy when he was delivering a message of truth; he would dance around as he spoke. There is a song called "I Can Only Imagine" "surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel? Will I dance for you Jesus, or in awe of You be still?" Well, I picture Bob dancing full of Joy in the presence of our Lord. Now there are some things we may not have answers for or understand today; let's not dwell there. Getting stuck on the why's and how's and the but's...only leave us feeling hopeless. Bob would say Jesus in our hope. Scripture is full of promises of hgope. Hebrews 6:19 Jesus is the anchor of our soul. Revelations 2:14"And God shall wip away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there by any more pain; for the former things are passed away." ...now that is something to be hopeful for.
Torah teaches that Jacob never died. Just like Jacob in Genesis 49:33, Bob being so full of the Spirit, his soul discarded its earthly remnant and continued on. Again, I repeat these lyrics: To be absent from this body, is to be present with the Lord. And from what I know of Him that must be very good.
I remember Bob on his walks around the Park. You could see his smile as he walked by, always with a greeting and a smile, and at Pot Luck his Spirit was always up and he always had a hug for me (Janeel) and a part on the back for Gaylord. Gaylord and Janeel Gaines
We loved Bob's sermons! They were so real to life, making great memories and new visions on dealing with choices and everyday life. We enjoyed the evenings Bob and Mary Beth would come by and have a snack with us and visit! Such great times! We love you! Bill & Becky Congdon
Pastor Bob had such a heart for people--he TRULY cared DEEPLY for every person his life touched. He had a TRUE Pastor's heart. His passion for and depth in the Word of God was amazing--and it was always fresh, powerful, timely, full of the Love and Grace of God. He showed us that Kingdom living is NOW--not only a "future" thing. Personally, he ministered to our family deeply--our daughter is bi-polar, and we will never forget the compassion, wisdom, understanding, hope and help he ministered to us; both he and Mary Beth have blessed us beyond words. We are forever grateful! Russ, Terry and Kristen Kohuth
Dear Mary Beth, We are with you in the Spirit of Jesus. We have loved Bob very much, but we are so blessed that he is not suffering any more and he is with our Lord Jesus and we will see him again. Sweet Mary Beth, we love you so much and our thoughts and prayers are with you. The Lord be with you in this time of sorrow and joy that He never leaves or forsakes you. Hugs & love from Bob & Rennie Vanwest
Bob, you were special! You radiated! You had that direct line from the Hub--God--which you spread around to all you came in contact with. Bob was always encouraging to me, LaVaughn, and his sermons were always right on for me. Ted also really thought a lot of Bob. Bob always reminded me of my Presbyterian minister who baptized me when I was a young girl. We will miss him but know he is having a wonderful time with our Lord. We love you Bob. LaVaughn & Ted Wiersma
Pastor Bob was such an inspiration to many people. He lived an exemplary life that reflected Jesus in every way. Bob was real and genuine. He often would greet me at church with words like, "Lou, how are you?" He meant it because he would look me straight in the eye and didn't flynch until I gave an answer. Pastor Bob took a real interest in others. Lou Furubotten
We loved Pastor Bob. Bob's life was a reflection of the Kingdom of God on earth. Full of love and warmth and words of encouragement. We will never forget him. Raul & Irene Gonzalez
Mary Beth, Bob was a great man of God. A lovely husband he was to you. I always admired the way the two of you were crazy for each other. Rest assure, Bob is watching over you.
Bob was a great minister of the Word of God. One time after Ministry Night on a Sunday night at church, I asked Bob if he would adopt me. His children, Martin & Nancy, were there; he told a story about them; I thought Bob was a great Dad; I wanted a Dad like him--loving & caring.
I am grateful Bob was at Kurt & my wedding; he was sick but came. It made the wedding special. I told Bob he needed to get well so he can run with Kurt & I at the Y2 Marathon Feb 17, 2012; I will run my first Y2 Marathon; I know Bob will be there to cheer me on. I will need Bob's encouragement to make the race. The race is dedicated to you, Bob. God Bless-Love you Bob. Jill Leon
My favorite times were practicing with the Silver Eagles. He welcomed me to sing even though I had no silver yet. He was always so sweet to me and I appreciated him greatly. Pauline Menefee
Pastor Bob was happy and always had uplifting things to say that made me know that God loves me. I could see the Love of God on his face. Sandy McGarry
I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Bob for very long, but my strongest memory of Bob is actually vicarious my daughter, Brooklynn. One Personal Ministry night my 13yr-old gave Bob a word and it touched him so much that he cried. It was a beautiful moment. Jessica Kesinger
Mary Beth, knowing how much we ALL miss Pastor Bob, I'm reminded of a verse that has always touched me with a fresh touch of the knowledge that we shall all be reunited. I'm looking at how your husband handled LIFE, and what a tremendous blessing to all. I see that God just changed Pastor Bob's address to our real destination, the place we all aim for! It reminds me of the faithfulness of the LORD'S PROMISE! All that He said He'd do is now coming to pass. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man... Much love to you from us! Ed and Juanita Nosworthy
I just appreciated that Bob Pangburn was a spiritual dad to me and to us all. I really never had a spiritual dad, and that meant the world to me. Joyce Euren
I remember Bro. Bob mostly as always having a smile on his face, an energetic spirit and an upbeat attitude. A man that loved the Lord and let everyone know it. Gordon Douglas
Pastor Bob, or as I remember him saying, "I'm Grandpa Bob," was a sweet man with a sweet, sweet Spirit. He was always an inspiration with his zealousness. No matter how much time had gone by, he always received me with open arms and excitement to see me and my family. He especially helped me during a difficult time in my life when my Mom had been diagnosed with cancer. He was always giving me encouraging words and especially with the gift of his book to me and my Mom. He will be dearly missed. Love, Tia Keicher
I am presently going thru his devotional book (beginning as of Jan 13), and these words in his book so inspire me. What a precious gift. Jesus shined thru Bob, in good times and bad. Mary Beth and Bob blessed us in many ways, although we lived on opposite sides of town. We are blessed to have him in our memories and share the few precious moments we did. Thank You God for Blessed Bob! God Bless you Mary Beth! Thanks for your prayers for my Dad also thru his past battle with that awful disease, cancer; Bob fought well, and brave. Jeff & Cindy Hammond
Bob was a great inspiration to me. Every time I and will miss him at saw him I was blessed. He had many gifts of the Lord and shared. The Lord used him in many ways. I loved him in the Lord and will miss him at Family Fellowship. Kathleen Rutt
Hi Mary Beth! Rejoicing with you all that Bob is in Heaven, re-uniting with loved ones, especially His beloved, Jesus! YOU and Bob have blessed so many with being beautiful examples of Jesus' Loving Heart! Sharon Lockwood
I met Bob thru Sweetwater Church of the Valley. And I got to know him better at home meetings at his house. I read his devotionals which have inspired me toward a closer walk with our Lord and Savior. Pastor Dan Woodward
After years of enjoying both of Bob's devotional books, I was blessed to come to a church service and finally meet him! I was so happy to give and get a hug and be where he was ministering words personally to others, just like he does in his books. I celebrate his homegoing to the streets of gold! Carol Wiens
My introduction to Bob is through Martin and I am happy to be "grafted" in the Pangburn clan! Around the year 2001 we met in Prescott where Martin was ministering. I bought Bob's book and gave them as special gifts trying to keep my own. On my 60th birthday I threw a party for 25 women and gave each a copy of the prophecies from the books on the dates of their birthdays and EVERYONE was so very BLESSED with that gift! Thank you Bob for living a life to be emulated by all your children and grandchildren and touching others who would not have known God's Love without you reaching out! Nancy Barkley
I remember Bob visiting us in Jordan. I was learning to play piano and fussing because the piano teacher wouldn't let me play songs I liked. Bob taught me how to play using chords. To this day I chord more than playing the left hand notes. Due to this, I've thought of Bob many times over the years. I also remembering visiting Bob & family in Meteetse, WY when he pastored the church there. I have both devotionals written by Bob and they have ministered to me. I used them a lot while in Shelby and going through a lot. They gave me comfort and helped me keep my focus on the Lord. Love, Barb Counsin Barbara Burley
Bob was older than me and as kids growing up we didn't see much of each other except for Thanksgiving (always) at Grandma's (Tripp). The cousins were closer at a younger age.
He was always full of laughs over something he'd pulled as I remember.
My biggest remembrance of Bob was when he'd come to Mt. Jack Rabbit hunting. That was my first taste of Jack Rabbit (not bad).
They'd (whoever) would go out at night with the spot light and load up--300 or so. I remember thinking they must eat a lot.
When I stayed with Aunt Louise and Uncle Harold he was already gone from home. Gary and I are the same age.
Mary Beth; I am sorry that it took me this long to look you and Bob up only to see his passing. The wedding he performed for Jeanette and I was a beautiful ceremony and we'll always remember his care for the SonBeams group @Sweetwater and how he allowed me to grow in my relationship with God. We now have a beautiful 14-year old daughter named Emily Joy Noelle and we'll break out the video of our wedding and show her the wonderful ceremony we had.

ReplyDeleteWhen I was growing up, some people called my brother, Bob, while others called him, Robert. So, being about 13 years younger, I called him Bobert. Pastor Bob, I truly miss you. You were and are an inspiration to me. Meeting you here at Pleasant Harbor RV Resort was an act of God. Sharing what time we had together was wonderful. I will never forget you and can't wait to see you again when I meet Jesus face to face.
ReplyDeleteI will miss our talks Bob. You have always been such a gentleman and I am honored to have known you. Now you are having talks with Jesus. Love and miss you, Pam Furubotten.
ReplyDeletePapa, I will always miss you. Love, Nancy
ReplyDeletePastor Bob, You were just that--a TRUE pastor in very sense of the word.
ReplyDeleteOur hearts are crying for you Pastor Bob, we really miss you!

ReplyDeleteThose that knew Pastor Bob know how he always said "BLESS YOU" or "I love you man" usually accompanied by a hug or handshake that was sincerely felt.

We are so sadden with your loss. Remember, Mary Beth, Bob is now with the Lord and he will always be looking out for you. Bob is now laughing and in perfect health! Our thoughts and prayers are with you. May God bless you and give you strength.

Bob still ministers to me through his daily devotionals. Yes, we have the peace and joy knowing he is in the arms of Jesus, Our Lord and Savior. It has been a privilege knowing God had placed you both in my life. Love to you and your family.
ReplyDeleteJennie S Dewberry
I truly do know how you feel...he was such an Amazing Man of GOD and I'm sure he's so proud to meet some of the people that he led to the LORD in his new heavenly home. I love you and will truly be lifting you in prayer.
ReplyDeleteLove you so, Cheryl Hill

I know the Holy Spirit was urging me to pray for your family. It is the best comfort to know that he is home with Jesus and that he served him well while he lived on this earth. May your new year be filled with blessings for you and your family.

ReplyDeleteBob and I were 11 months apart.
ReplyDeleteJoan Kindt
One of our favorite memories of Bob is when he spent Thanksgiving at our home with us. Our son, Aaron, was around 1 at the time, and was spending a lot of time with Bob at our dinner. Bob was feeding Aaron mashed potatoes, each time Aaron stood at his knee. It was so cute, and a very special memory we hold dear to our hearts. We will miss Bob greatly.

In memory of Bob Pangburn, to Mary Beth, the Pangburn family, and the family of God of Sweetwater Church.
ReplyDeleteNothing can separate us from the love of God, not even death, and nothing can separate us from the bond of family that has shared the love of God, not time, or space, or distance.
In His Love and by His Grace,
Jim and Karen
Bob was a gentle soul who loved and served the Lord FIRST! He was sound in his business practices only because he was led by the Spirit of God. He smiled easily and loved deeply. I will forever be honored to have been a part of his humanness and service-hood.
ReplyDeleteDarlene Turner
Bob always had a way that spoke to me. He was very special to me. I went to visit him in Hospice Green House. All he did was make ME feel good. He always could do that and always did.
ReplyDeleteBilly Dahlberg
ReplyDeleteBob walked in the anointing of the Holy Spirit with purpose of ministry.
ReplyDeleteBob taught us Peace.
We love you Bob
Elizabeth Dahlberg
I remember Bob on his walks around the Park. You could see his smile as he walked by, always with a greeting and a smile, and at Pot Luck his Spirit was always up and he always had a hug for me (Janeel) and a part on the back for Gaylord.

We loved Bob's sermons! They were so real to life, making great memories and new visions on dealing with choices and everyday life. We enjoyed the evenings Bob and Mary Beth would come by and have a snack with us and visit! Such great times! We love you!

ReplyDeleteBob, you were special!

ReplyDeleteLou Furubotten
We loved Pastor Bob. Bob's life was a reflection of the Kingdom of God on earth. Full of love and warmth and words of encouragement. We will never forget him.

Mary Beth, Bob was a great man of God. A lovely husband he was to you. I always admired the way the two of you were crazy for each other. Rest assure, Bob is watching over you.
ReplyDeleteBob was a great minister of the Word of God.

Pastor Bob was happy and always had uplifting things to say that made me know that God loves me. I could see the Love of God on his face.

I didn't have the pleasure of knowing Bob for very long, but my strongest memory of Bob is actually vicarious my daughter, Brooklynn. One Personal Ministry night my 13yr-old gave Bob a word and it touched him so much that he cried. It was a beautiful moment.

ReplyDeleteMuch love to you from us! Ed and Juanita Nosworthy
I just appreciated that Bob Pangburn was a spiritual dad to me and to us all. I really never had a spiritual dad, and that meant the world to me.

I remember Bro. Bob mostly as always having a smile on his face, an energetic spirit and an upbeat attitude. A man that loved the Lord and let everyone know it.

Love,

I met Bob thru Sweetwater Church of the Valley. And I got to know him better at home meetings at his house. I read his devotionals which have inspired me toward a closer walk with our Lord and Savior.
ReplyDeletePastor Dan Woodward
After years of enjoying both of Bob's devotional books, I was blessed to come to a church service and finally meet him! I was so happy to give and get a hug and be where he was ministering words personally to others, just like he does in his books. I celebrate his homegoing to the streets of gold!
ReplyDeleteCarol Wiens
My introduction to Bob is through Martin and I am happy to be "grafted" in the Pangburn clan! Around the year 2001 we met in Prescott where Martin was ministering. I bought Bob's book and gave them as special gifts trying to keep my own. On my 60th birthday I threw a party for 25 women and gave each a copy of the prophecies from the books on the dates of their birthdays and EVERYONE was so very BLESSED with that gift! Thank you Bob for living a life to be emulated by all your children and grandchildren and touching others who would not have known God's Love without you reaching out!

Love, Barb

Bob was older than me and as kids growing up we didn't see much of each other except for Thanksgiving (always) at Grandma's (Tripp). The cousins were closer at a younger age.
ReplyDeleteHe was always full of laughs over something he'd pulled as I remember.
May God Bless, Cousin Agnes (Beard) Drane
Mary Beth;
ReplyDeleteI am sorry that it took me this long to look you and Bob up only to see his passing.
With all our love, Roger and Jeanette Wood
